Oeiras foi eleito como o Melhor Município para Estudar no âmbito da iniciativa “Prémios de Reconhecimento à Educação 2010”. A distinção foi entregue ao presidente da Câmara Municipal de Oeiras, Isaltino Morais, numa cerimónia que decorreu no dia 5 de Julho, na Universidade Católica de Lisboa, no âmbito da 18ª Conferência SInASE, a qual foi presidida pela ministra da Educação, Isabel Alçada.

Nuno Crato foi nomeado, dia 8 de Junho, presidente executivo do Taguspark na Assembleia Geral. Nuno Crato é professor catedrático de Matemática e Estatística no Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão de Lisboa e presidente da Sociedade Portuguesa de Matemática.

AITECOEIRAS is proud of having contributed to the opening, to be held this September, of the Oeiras International School, initially in the premises of Fundição de Oeiras and, at the end of the first semester of the following academic year, in Quinta de Nossa Senhora da Conceição in Barcarena, and of having supported this project since the beginning, due to the importance of this type of investment to the consolidation of the project Oeiras Valley.
